Alrighty folks, I’m going to officially state that I’m getting back on track with my posts. I think I’ve gotten past the hump of pure craziness that has taken up my life in the past few weeks and I’ve really been missing my blog. I am happy to say, though, that I have kept up with my plan even if I haven’t kept up with posting.
Tomorrow is my official weigh in day so we’ll see what that brings but as of today I’ve lost 16 pounds on this weight loss journey. I’ve gone down two pant sizes and now those are starting to feel loose. I’ve had to buy a new belt and I’ve been able to wear clothes I couldn’t fit into for a long time. The beauty of it all is that I still don’t feel like I’m depriving myself of anything.
Now I just find myself anxiously awaiting the next round. I measure myself every month and decided that I would re-do photos every 3 months. The end of August will be the end of month 3, which means I’ll get to both of these soon! Not to mention I’m excited to be hitting my 3-month mark. It may sound pathetic but I don’t think I’ve ever stuck with a weight loss plan this long. I’m excited to see where my measurements are and to see if I notice any difference in my pictures.
I’m also excited for some new challenges! By the end of the month I will have completed my P90X challenge, which means it’s time to pick some new focuses. I think I’m going to pick some shorter challenges for this next quarter – maybe a food and a fitness challenge to start. I’m still deciding what I’ll do but I’m excited to start this next round!
